Continuing-Education (CEU) / Credit-Hours Tracking
Who this guide is for: Tenant administrators who award continuing-education units or credit hours for course completion and need learners to see the credit they have earned.
You can attach an optional credit value and a unit label to any course. When a learner completes the course, that credit appears on their credential wallet (their transcript), both per-course and as a running total.
CEU is optional — courses with no credit value behave exactly as before.
Step 1 — Set credit on a course
- Go to Admin → Courses and open the course.
- In the course editor, find the Certificate panel.
- Under Continuing-education credit (optional), enter:

1.5). Decimals are allowed. - Unit label — what the credit is called (e.g.

Leave the value blank to award no credit.

What the learner sees
On My Credentials (the credential wallet), each earned certificate shows its
course’s credit (e.g. 1.5 CEU), and the header shows the total credit
earned across all credentials.
The total is a straight sum of the credit values across completed courses. If your courses mix unit labels, the total uses the first label encountered — keep a consistent label across courses you want summed together.
Troubleshooting
