Your Team Skills Matrix
The skills matrix is a grid of your team: one row per person, one column per skill. Each box shows how a person’s level compares with the level their job role requires.
Where to find it
Open Analytics in the left menu, then click Skills Matrix. You see the people who report to you, directly or through someone else.
Read the grid
- A green check means the person meets or exceeds what their role requires.
- A yellow box means they are one level short. A red box means two levels or more short.
- A red box with a dashed outline means the skill is required but they hold no level yet.
- A dash means their role does not require the skill.
- A small yellow mark in the corner means their level expires soon.
Click any box, or move to it with the arrow keys and press Enter, to see the details and open the person’s page.
The last row shows, for each skill, how many of the people who need it are at the level required, for example 6 of 8.
Find the gaps quickly
Click One level below or Two or more levels below above the grid to list only the people with that kind of gap. Use Job role or Group to focus on part of your team, then Apply filters.
Share it
Click Export Excel or Export CSV to download the grid for everyone your filters select. Exports are recorded for your organization’s records. If you do not see these buttons, your role does not include exporting reports; ask your administrator.
