Install the App & Turn On Notifications

You can add EmbayLMS to your phone or computer like a regular app, and turn on notifications so you don’t miss a due date.

Install the app

EmbayLMS works as an installable app — no app store needed.

On a phone (Android / Chrome):

1. Open EmbayLMS in your browser.
2. Tap the menu (⋮) and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
3. Confirm. An EmbayLMS icon appears on your home screen.

On iPhone / iPad (Safari):

1. Open EmbayLMS in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
3. Tap Add.

On a computer (Chrome / Edge):

1. Open EmbayLMS.
2. Click the install icon in the address bar (or the menu → Install).

The installed app opens in its own window and works just like the website.

Turn on notifications

Get reminders (like an upcoming due date or a new assignment) even when the app isn’t open.

1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select View profile.
2. At the bottom of My Profile, in the Two-factor authentication section, click Manage.
3. Find Push notifications and click Enable.
4. When your browser asks, choose Allow.

To stop them, come back and click Disable — or turn notifications off for the site in your browser settings.

Your other devices

The same card lists every other phone, tablet or computer where you turned notifications on — for example Chrome on Android — last seen 4 Sept. Click Remove next to a device you no longer use and it stops receiving notifications. The list shows even on a browser that cannot receive push itself, so you can always tidy up from a desktop.
