Install the App & Turn On Notifications
You can add EmbayLMS to your phone or computer like a regular app, and turn on notifications so you don’t miss a due date.
Install the app
EmbayLMS works as an installable app — no app store needed.
On a phone (Android / Chrome):
- Open EmbayLMS in your browser.
- Tap the menu (⋮) and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
- Confirm. An EmbayLMS icon appears on your home screen.
On iPhone / iPad (Safari):
- Open EmbayLMS in Safari.
- Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
On a computer (Chrome / Edge):
- Open EmbayLMS.
- Click the install icon in the address bar (or the menu → Install).
The installed app opens in its own window and works just like the website.
Turn on notifications
Get reminders (like an upcoming due date or a new assignment) even when the app isn’t open.
- Go to Account → Security.
- Find Push notifications and click Enable.
- When your browser asks, choose Allow.
To stop them, come back and click Disable — or turn notifications off for the site in your browser settings.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| No Install option | Your browser may not support it, or the app is already installed. Try Chrome, Edge, or Safari. |
| Enable button is missing | Your browser doesn’t support push, or it’s an older device. iPhones need the app added to the Home Screen first, then enable notifications from there. |
| It says notifications are blocked | You previously denied them. Re-allow EmbayLMS in your browser’s site settings, then try again. |
| Not getting notifications | Make sure you clicked Allow, and that notifications for your browser are on in your device settings. |
