How to find and start a learning path
A learning path is a set of courses grouped together into a curriculum. A path shows your progress across all of its courses in one place.
Steps
- Sign in to EmbayLMS and select Explore in the top navigation bar.
- Learning paths appear at the top of the Explore page, above the courses. You can also click the Learning paths tab to see only paths.
- Each path tile shows a Learning path badge, the number of courses, and the estimated time to finish. If you are enrolled, the tile also shows an Enrolled badge and your progress bar.
- Click a path tile to see the list of courses inside it, under Courses in this path.
- Click Enroll in path to join.
- Start with the first course — click Start next to it to begin.
My learning shows the paths you are enrolled in under Learning paths in progress, separate from your individual courses. A course that is part of your path appears under the path, not in your individual course list.
How progress works
- The path page shows how many required courses you have finished, for example “2 of 5 required courses complete”.
- Each course in the path has its own progress bar while you are working on it.
- Some courses are Locked until you finish the course before them. The page tells you which course unlocks them.
- The path is complete when you finish all required courses.
- Courses marked Optional are not needed to complete the path.
