How to Find, Download, and Share Your Completion Certificate

This article shows you how to find a certificate you earned, download it as a PDF, and share a verification link with someone else.

Where to Find Your Certificates

  1. Sign in to your EmbayLMS portal.
  2. Click your name or profile photo in the top-right corner.
  3. Select My learning from the menu.
  4. Click the Certificates tab.

You will see a list of all the certificates you have earned, with the course name and the date you completed it.

How to Download a Certificate as a PDF

  1. Go to your Certificates tab (steps above).
  2. Find the certificate you want.
  3. Click Download PDF.
  4. The PDF opens in a new tab. Save it to your computer using your browser menu (File > Save) or the download icon.

The PDF includes your name, the course name, the completion date, and a unique certificate ID.

Each certificate has a public verification link. Anyone with the link can confirm the certificate is real without needing to log in.

  1. Go to your Certificates tab.
  2. Find the certificate you want to share.
  3. Click Copy verification link.
  4. Paste the link into an email, LinkedIn profile, or any other place you want to share it.

The link opens a page showing your name, the course, and the completion date. It is safe to share publicly.

What to Do If Your Certificate Is Missing

If you completed a course but do not see a certificate:

  1. Check that the course actually has a certificate. Not all courses issue one - the course page will say “Certificate included” if it does.
  2. Wait a few minutes and refresh the page. Certificates can take up to 5 minutes to generate after you finish a course.
  3. Make sure you fully completed the course. Some courses require you to pass a quiz before the certificate is issued.
  4. If the certificate is still missing after 10 minutes, contact your organization administrator. They can check your completion record and reissue the certificate if needed.
