Buy a paid course

Some courses have a price. There are two ways to buy: directly from a course page when you’re signed in, or by adding one or more courses to a cart from the public catalog.

Buy from the course page

1. Open the course page. If it’s a paid course, you’ll see a Buy for $… button.
2. Click it. You’re taken to a secure checkout page to enter your payment details.
3. After your payment goes through, you’re brought back to the course page.
4. Your access is confirmed in a moment, and the course opens up for you to start.

Buy from the public catalog (cart)

If your organization has a public course catalog, you can browse and buy without signing in first:

1. Go to the catalog (the Browse / catalog page). Each course tile shows its price.
2. Click a course to see full details — description, outline, and price — in a pop-up.
3. Click Add to cart on any paid courses you want. The cart count updates in the header.
4. Open the Cart and review your items and total. Apply a coupon code if you have one.
5. Click Checkout. If you’re not signed in yet, you’ll be asked to sign in or create an account first, then you come right back to your cart.
6. Complete payment on the secure checkout page. When it’s done, every course in your cart is added to My Courses.

Your card details are always entered on the secure payment page — the course site never sees or stores your card number.

Have a coupon code?

Enter it in the cart (or at checkout) and select Apply. A code that makes your order free completes right away, with no payment step, and enrolls you in everything in the cart.

After you buy

• The courses appear in My Courses and you can start them immediately.
• You’ll get a receipt for your purchase.
• Your purchase is recorded in your account history.
