How to Change the Platform Language
EmbayLMS is available in English and French (Canada). This article shows you how to switch between them.
How to Change Your Language
- Sign in to your portal.
- Click your name or profile photo in the top-right corner.
- Select Profile settings.
- Find the Language section.
- Choose English or French (Canada) from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
The page will reload and the platform will switch to the language you selected right away.
What Changes When You Switch Languages
Changes immediately:
- All menus, buttons, and labels in the platform
- Notification emails you receive in the future
- Date formats and number formats
Does not change:
- Course content (videos, slides, SCORM packages) - content is in whatever language your organization created it in. If your organization offers a course in both English and French, you may see both versions in the catalog.
- Certificates already issued - they keep the language they were generated in.
What If I Do Not See French as an Option?
Your organization may have chosen to offer the platform in English only. In that case, the language selector will not appear. Contact your administrator if you need French language support enabled.
